Getting a pain in my knee after 50+ km. Really sore and sharp. Just wondering if anyone knows of any physios who specialise or have experience in these type of injuries?
    Thanks

This is usually caused by poor cleat alignment or not enough float between the cleats and the pedals.

Pat Halpin in Skerries. Very experienced cyclist and sportsman in general.
    Knows his stuff.

The alignment in my cleats / bike setup hasn't changed in years, so that's why I was going to a physio. Maybe I should get a bike fit done before I go to a physio. If that fails then maybe that guy in sherries.
I think I have a voucher or discount from cycling Ireland for a rethul bike fit. So will check them out.

Hopefully I can get it sorted this week as I am doing the tour de burren on Saturday.

I too am suffering from worrying knee pain and just started some research, then the moment you mentioned that I had a eureka moment. I went from Look Keo cleats at 4.5deg float to 0 float. I guess that's the culprit?
