    England v Russia.

The godfathers of hooliganism v the new kids, with a particularly nasty racist streak.

Sure stick it on in France's roughest city.

Oh and make sure it's on a Saturday evening, after a good day of boozing.

Seems to be a lot more involved than just the English disease here. Roving gangs of Marsielle Ultras, similar with the Russians all dressed in black seeking out the English as a scalp in the hooligan stakes. Literally in one case as one poor lad had his head opened up with an axe. Poor choice of location with Marseille hooligans reputation to lump English and Russians in there

Did you not get the memo?

This isn't a thread for rational discussion, it's a chance for the little irelanders to be high and mighty

While there is a very ugly undercurrent in English support, they seem to have moved on from the ultra neo nazi element that marks some Russian support. From accounts it seems that some Russians brought some serious weapons, knives, iron bars etc.

Well seen as it's hooligans and not fans. Plus a bunch of the English hooligans bans have ran out. Russian and French Targeting the English fans. Bound to happen where its held and who is involved. Think they should separate in reports and call them hooligans and not fans.

.....and for the little Englanders to play the victim.

And of course, Russia shouldn't even be there after their actions in the Ukraine.

World Cup 2018 is shaping up to be great craic.

Actually, Russia has 2 teams in the Euro's.

They just kicked Ukraine's dressing room door in and shouted "this is ours now".

    Russia2 is playing Germany tomorrow.

Isn't there enough whining and moaning from "teh micks" about the Englanders on After Hours already?

From all accounts it seems like certain sections of the Russian supporters came prepared and looking for a fight. Not sure we can blame this one completely on the English fans.

Very true, mind you, there are some really scummy elements within the English camp!

Given the choice between the two I'd prefer to see the Russians getting knocked out early. They're more trouble than they're worth.

The Russians have a severe hooligan problem. As have others like Poland etc. That feck Serbia aren't there or else they too would be lumping in.
