Hi Danny. As a matter of interest, where do you think you should be turning? I have actually seen some reasonable advice being handed out here...

    No idea.

    Maybe not public forums.

That is a fair point. Clearly there is something troubling you. You are probably right that a public forum isn't the place to deal with it, you know they best, but if there is something going on make sure you speak to someone, or ideally more than one person. Get some views on your problem from a couple of different angles. Perhaps have a read of the forum, find someone you think talks sense and drop them a PM...?

I wish you all the best and hope you get it all resolved.

    Good afternoon!

I agree with MrPudding with some caveats.

Before I recommend contacting anyone on this forum, I'd recommend reaching out to a church leader you can trust. Failing that reach out to a Christian friend that knows you and cares for you.

Failing that please reach out to someone here. Bear in mind many of us myself included are either evangelical Christians or mainline Protestants. I am technically both. I would love to help you with anything but find someone off the internet first.

Could I also say - we all struggle with our faith and we all fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). Please don't ever think you are not good enough to come to God . That's not true and that's precisely what the devil wants you to believe. The reason why Jesus died and rose again is because we need Him daily. We can ask Him for help and He gladly hears us! Stay strong and hold on, it's a very tough fight, but it is worth it.

Much thanks in the Lord Jesus Christ,

Faith ebbs and flows in my own experience.
I believe this must also be the case with those who profess a religious faith.

Our faith is often tested very very hard. And it's in that "hour of doubt" that one must try to reach back in to what helped kindle one's faith before.

    Prayer is a great resource.
I hope that this helps the OP.
