Competitive Swimming lessons for 17yr old

I am a 17yr old looking to join a swimming / competitive swimming club in Galway. I am a strong swimmer already but would like to perfect my technique and perhaps get involved in lifeguarding and swimming competitions. Galway swimming club and Sharks Swimming club are both good. Can't do links but they both have a dot ie website. Galway triathlon club are also very friendly and organise swim coaching I believe (some open water as well as pool).
