Cow pushing after being bulled?

Well, just thought I would see what you guys and gals think, have a cow near 14 years old- to be fair she is a pet of an oul thing as quiet as anything got her to the bull today and after a couple of "mountings" (to be polite :P) she put a fierce hump on her and started to push from her behind. Now I know the hump and the tail out is expected, but she was pushing herself for nearly 4 hours after the bulling and pushing fierce hard- almost as if she was thinking of calving....Anyone ever see this before? I've seen a right few cows bulled but have never seen them push to the extent she was! Cheers!
