This is probably common knowlege and an occupational hazard but didn't expect car seat covers to look like this after only putting them on new less than a weeks ago....and tips for getting oil and grime out?

A chap I knew had car seat covers in his classic Mini and he used to throw them in the washing machine and they would come out like new. IIRC with stubborn stains(I didn't ask…) he'd pre soak them in that cilitbang stuff. Seemed to work well. I've seen similar advice on classic car forums where people would strip down their cloth seats to rebuild the foam etc and they'd stick the covers in the washing machine.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Wash them!.... and then invest in another set of seatcovers to protect your existing seatcovers :pac:

Thread title - "car seat covers after nct"

Are you an NCT tester or did the NCT dirty your seats?

An nct tester with dirty clothes is impossible.
