I got a notice that i was coming off jobseekers benefit and moving onto job seekers allowance. Filled out the form and sent them 3 months of statements from my acc and credit card.

Last week i had a reduced payment of 3 days, this week i had nothing went to the sw office. I was told that paymente would be resumed and back paid after i met an inspector. But i was told they didnt know when that would be.

Anyone know a general timeframe of how long it takes? Ive 14 to do me in definetly and about 200 in DD coming out next week for bills.

Strange. When I went from benefit to allowance (back working now thankfully) there was no break or drop in my payments. It all went seamlessly. Did the same as you ie. provided all the relevant info on time etc. No problems.

While you are waiting for you means to be sorted you can apply to your community welfare officer for supplementary welfare allowance.
