I work in a company in Dubin and there's this girl at work whom I have liked for a while and up to 6 months ago she was in a serious relationship for a number of years, I think she may be seeing someone else now but not sure or how serious. We have always gone on and chatted on FB a number of times and shes always up for a bit of banter/slagging etc but in the last few weeks she has become very friendly ,we work shift so a lot of the time we are alone together and she'd be there asking if I want to go for a coffee and she would talk about her life, family friends etc. Something which she has never done before, shes also very easy to make laugh. Another point I'd like to add is she blushes a lot around me recently, now if she is interested not sure how to go about it, I come off as quite confident I can be very good at teasing and flirting etc but I'm not that confident when it comes to actual dating and asking girls out

Just throw it into conversation casually, 'do you fancy going for a drink/bite to eat/spin to the beach some evening?'. Don't make it into a big deal in your head because I find that's when nerves kick in for me. But you would need to be prepared that if she says no, it could be a little awkward in work.

I say go for it. Why not? Life is short!

    Hi
I have read your post. Yes I believe you should say yes if she asks you out. The best thing to do is to go up and say to her would you like to go for a drink/to the cinema/for something to eat after work and then take it from there. She sounds really interested and if I were you I would say yes. Go on say yes life is short take it.

OP Here, Perhaps she's not as interested as I first thought. We have only spoken on FB a few times and she never initiates the conversation. I told myself I'm not going to start a convo on FB with her any more because I don't want to look too needy , I have always liked her but accepted she had a boyfriend and just wasn't interested in me like that way but this very friendliness in the past few weeks has really gotten to me, subtle changes like stopping and wanting to chat in the corridor , telling me more personal things about her family and friends etc. Not sure what to do, I have developed a bit of oneitis type thing for her which isn't healthy
