Have a few weaned ewe lambs that are being kept for breeding.
One of them was watering at the mouth & then throwing up.
Has anyone ever seen this before?

Was this after eating ration or just in a field of grass?

Often seen ewes or lambs throw up ration like you describe after gorging themselves on too much ration. But never seen it other than that...

    Was after giving a little Hulls,bean & Barley (3.5 *4oz) to 6.
To me it looks like stuff a dog would throw up.
Am away early, might leave her till I get back.

Yeah, I seen that a few times with ewes and lambs, they start shaking their heads mad first, and then the saliva comes up and then a watery pasty kinda puke...

I think its from them gorging themselves too quick, but maybe its some of the ration going with their breath as well or something.

The first time I saw it, twas a bit disconcerting all right, but it hasn't seemed to do em any harm. They always come back eating the next time anyways...
