Has anyone got this done? Any problems pop up over time? 413 + vat is what Chadwicks have quoted me. That sound about about right?

I got one from their own website - works great. Solar powered roller with a remote.

    https://www.veluxshop.ie/configure-and-buy/blinds/buy-a-blind
Cost me EUR 374.92 incl. VAT and postage. But it depends on your window size.

    Did you fit it yourself?

That's a great idea l have a velux over stairs landing, never opened since fitted, too high up and dangerous!!

Remote solar blind or remote solar window they are two different things at two different prices.

We have the remote solar blinds they are great but I would like to go to the next level and upgrade to remote solar windows

Window. No need for a blind up there, brings lovely light onto the landing.

I have two in a bedroom since 2008. Still work fine today. Battery hasn't failed yet. Just ordered 2 more for a different room. They are pricey but can't fault them

These are blinds btw. Not solar Windows

Oops - sorry, I meant blinds. OP was asking about windows.

So was I. Solar Windows need to be planned from the start. I don't think they can be retrofitted as easily as the blind

The solar blinds are just shy of 400 Euro Inc vat so solar Windows at 413 plus 23% vat sound cheap compared
