I've only ever seen HL Polish papers and they expect quite a good level of written Polish - think 'Gazeta Wyborcza' rather than 'Fakt'. I think all the 'native speaker' exams are at Higher only.

If you speak it at home and have even a few years of school in Poland or Polish school here you should be able to get a C or so, but to get the higher grades they do expect the same level of Polish for an A1 or A2 that would get you a 5 or a 6 in Poland.
