Soilicitor fee for transferring property ownership

    hi all,


    Just wondering what is the normal solicitor fee for transferring the ownership of a property to another party.

    I know you have to pay stamp duty on top plus pra .

    Usually around 1% of the sale price plus 23%!vat

    Ring or email a few solicitors and get a few quotes. Many will give a fixed professional fee with an estimate of outlays. Personally, I'd avoid solicitors charging a percentage of the property value.
