    Hey,

Was just wondering if anyone had opinions on these, it's. 2010 VW Golf 1.6tdi bluemotion 105ps.
I was told that the 1.6 engines can have problems with the injectors and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or opinions on a car like this?

I can't post a link to the car yet.
    Thanks in advance.

EGR values have a habit of failing on that engine. VW do offer partial goodwill towards the cost of replacing them but is dependant on mileage and service history afaik.

I was also looking at going the opposite and going for a 1.4tsi as its only city driving I will be doing. Would that engine be more reliable?

TSi engines can suffer from timing chain problems so make sure the chain is not rattly or has already been replaced. Mk6 1.4 TSi are rare, most sold here were 1.2 TSi which had the same issue.

Diesel engine is not suited to city driving and won't really offer anything in the way of extra fuel economy.
