Very lucky to maintain authority with one functioning elevator. Not familiar with the F5 but I am assuming it has an elevator trim tab as opposed to an all moving tail plane like the F16. Very lucky.

Basically, the report says, the lead pilot is being treated in hospital for cuts form landing in a glass house after electing, also being treated for a broken ankle.

Probably more to do with skill! These boys train a lot, I live under their flight training area during the winter months! See a lot of both them and the regular F5 and F18

Thanks for that. Not a trim tab in sight!

Its the lead aircraft with the head of the display, team in it. He is the one that dropped into the green house yesterday. All the Swiss F5's are due to be retired by 2018 so it will be interesting to see what happens with the display team, they all ready struggle to have 6 aircraft in the red and white paint job.
