    Hi All
I have a JCB 3c3 - powertrain model. The left side ram in the 4in1 bucket has had its day and is looking like a very expensive repair. Would anyone know if the ram's in later JCB models are the same if I go about picking up a second hand one?
    Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the rams on the later models but if it's an older machine there might be a premium on used parts as they would be rare. Have you considered taking it off the machine and bringing it into a hydraulics specialist - they would be able to check it and take measurements to see if it can be replaced with a generic ram.

If only one could rechrome a ram and put in new seals.

Any good engineering company will remake a rod for you, and the seals are available from lots of sources..............
