Anyone with an interest in Bronze Age archaeology (and who has been asleep for the past year or so) will definitely enjoy the exceptional preservation of the Must Farm site.
    Well worth a look.

Unfortunately wasn't able to visit it but according to people that have went its an incredible site, I can imagine though despite that it might be super-tedious to work on if they are accurately manually planning/recording every piece of wood as well as tonnes of sieving

Soil micromorphology is raising some interesting questions at Must Farm.

    Incredible finds at Must Farm.
Perfectly preserved textiles from 3,000 years ago.

    A date for the diary.
A programme on Must Farm, 'Britain's Pompeii: a Village Lost in Time' will air on BBC 4 next Tuesday at 9 pm.

Now in the process of being back-filled. Less than fifteen miles from me, as is Flag Fen, another place worth visiting if you are near Peterborough.

Here in East Anglia, just fifteen miles from Must Far, we got to see the programme at 8pm last night - that was Wednesday, rather than Tuesday.

I was very interested to see that leaf-shaped bronze sword is exactly the same as the example recovered from Dowris Co. Offaly, which is, in turn, exactly the same as the one I made with the assistance of of Dave Chapman at Flag Fen about ten years ago during a sword-making weekend.
