Scorch i imagine, is it on after grass or grazing ground?
Supprised its in slurry but get it with cereal crops if apply product in drying weather like sun/strong wind/low humidity like the weather has been. It will knock the affected leaves but in grass with rain due in a week you shouldnt notice with fresh growth coming.

Fair stink off that. I feel sorry for the neighbours putting up with this vile smell on a hot summer day.

Don't swear it at all. It will be absolutely fine by the time it's ready for grazing. We used to always use drought conditions and the extended rotations that go with them to cover the entire farm with pig slurry.

That and blow in Towny's who move to the countryside and give out about the smell of slurry.
    Goes with the territory.
Strong Pig slurry can burn grass a bit during drought but grass will come back twice as strong after a short time.
Spread as much as you can get.

Not really but would be the max id go with at the same time. Id have a preference for slurry from dry sow houses in weather like this. Less solids. Less burning.

Keep an eye on your nitrates figures as stock numbers rise.

With this weather pig slurry is as good as round up. You need rain after it to wash it in

It'll burn the grass tips at that rate, it'll recover no problem. If there is no dead worms in pasture your ok, you have to spread at that rate to make spreading it viable.
