    Hi

I'm looking to insure my Samsung S7 edge

    What's ye're opinion on Gadgetinsurance.ie? I got a quote and it's €6.99 a month but I can add loss cover for a extra €1 a month.

What I'm thinking of getting insurance is for if I ever break my phone screen

From my own experience the whole claim procedure is long winded and quite annoying.

They request a proof of barring report which takes 1-2 weeks for your mobile op to pass onto them then after that I waited another month to recieve my replacement due them not having any available

If you can get insurance from your mobile op I'd recommend that as you are then only dealing with one party..Again that's my own personal experience

Would backup above statement, pain in the ad to claim but they do usually cough up in the end.. Carphone warehouse or mobile operator insurance are much better options imo.

Yeah sure the problem is it's so slippy in hand. Please do keep me informed on how the claim goes. Are you with gadget insurance?
