Hi all - living in an estate in Carrigaline, Cork, and have noticed that the pebble dash at the front of the house has become discolored. Its the same for many other houses in the estate.

Is there any way to bring this back to life, power washing, painting etc?

    Any help appreciated

Make up a half and half solution and apply liberally. Half and half usually works: Contents: google and search:D:D:D Solution

No bother - this question continues to come up here every few weeks. Have a look at some of the past ones via the search function. I bet your discolouration is reddish???

Yup! It looks red alright...I have the bleach solution on now and it's gone kinda orange...will see how it is in another while

It should definitely clean it - did you rinse it down?

I did after it was on for around an hour and a half. I may need to use a more concentrated solution, didn't exactly measure half and half!

took another look this morning and seems to be somewhat better - I only tested it on a small area so will try a larger area later on

leave it on over night before you wash it down

OK so the first treatment defo helped - but I think ill need to go again and maybe with a stronger solution. You can still see all the marks, but they have become fainter

Coming back on this again, after nearly 2 years!
Im now looking to paint the pebble dash, Ive seen other houses in the estate that have done this, and they have come up very nicely.

Only problem is getting the right color paint for the job! Any ideas?
