Hi All,

Lately the car has been ticking over for about 30 seconds at 1k revs when I first start it, it's a 2l TDI PD 170 BMN engine and the DPF has been removed so I don't think it's this.

Also, this morning there was a "clattery" sound for a second and a slight hint of smoke I noticed while locking the house door. Checked oil etc and drove it on into work (35km approx) with no issues/smoke/funny smells.

Any ideas?
