    Planning is up from some Wexford based outfit , but with so many empty units in town do we need more ?

    It is not that we need more, it is that we need the correct kind and size. That is why City Square is being upgraded and the Newgate Centre is planned. City Square is the best proof of this. The new investors are not spending millions on it for the fun of it. It is because they have identified an unmet demand for retail space in Waterford city centre that they can profit of.
