Scared about possible HIV infection

I feel I maybe acting paranoid but right now I'm pretty scared.
Around the 14th of May I went to a gay sauna. I don't really get up to much but that day I went down of someone for about 10 seconds. He didn't climax in my mouth but I'm fairly sure I got some pre cum in it. I also had a small white bump on my tongue, a blister.
I am terrified the pre cum got onto my blister and infected me. About 2 weeks later I started getting a head ache, certain parts of my next started throbbing and I've been feeling a little nauseous. I can't feel any bumps or anything in my neck, would swollen lymph nodes be obvious? Also I've spleen waking with a bit sweaty. All these symptoms have been fairly mild and I've been able to go to gym / work etc no problem. I went to the doctor and they did a STI exam that came back negitive. But she told me that HIV won't show up for at least 3 months.
Right now I still feel the head ache, nauseous and throbbing in neck (although that could be because I keep jamming my fingers in it trying to find something).
Do you think I'm being overly paranoid? It's been very hot recently and I wonder if the heat has more to do with it as I feel better when it's colder.
Any advice and none judgemental replies would be welcome. The wait for 3 months is killing me.

HIV infection can (and usually does) show up much quicker than 3 months; that is the cutoff given to reduce risk further.

Swollen lymph nodes are generally very obvious. I would imagine you are getting headaches due to the heat and paranoia. You are far too far past the PEP window at this stage so all you can do is go back and get further testing and ensure to use protection in any further contact.

Sometimes fear like yours can exacerbate symptoms and make everything seem worse than it actually is. I get the same sometimes and in my scared state I end up frantically googling anything to do with any disease and almost convince myself into having it. For example if migraine is a symptom of something then even the slightest headache will be transformed into a crippling pain when I'm like that.

The way to look at your situation is that there's nothing you can do about it. If you do have HIV, then you have it, and checking for symptoms and worrying isn't going to do anything about it, and all you can do is get checked as soon as the 3 month window is up. If you don't, then you don't, and worrying isn't going to do anything about it either. So I'd take L1011's advice and get further testing and be safe going forward, as well as taking things easy yourself.

Id say u should be fine. HIV isn't contracted from oral sex. As long as protection is used for all penetrative sex HIV should not be a worry.
Also the 3 month window period is outdated. A doctor friend of mine told me that with modern tests the window period is only 3-4 weeks.
Anyways everybody should be getting regular STD checks if having multiple partners. Not just HIV but everything. There are more easier little nasty infections that can be picked up.

I would say you need to relax. The chances of you getting something are very very very low.
All the symptoms you are experiencing are in your head ( I dont mean to be flippant) but you are panicking ,you will be fine

The risk of HIV from oral sex is extremely low but it is not non-existent.

That said OP I very much doubt you have anything to worry about. While HIV can be found in precum the concentration is far lower than semen which would further reduce the risk to practically nothing. 10ish seconds of oral sex with no climax? You need to calm down and think about that for a moment. You've taken the right steps going to the doctor and getting an STI screen and you should go back for a follow up screen at a later date but you are reading way too much into these symptoms you're experiencing.

4th generation tests do have a stated detection accuracy of 95% at 28 days which rises to 99.9% by the 12 week mark but often the timeframe of 6-12 weeks is still used. If you are still panicking about the wait period your doctor has suggested you could so to any STI clinic and they will assess your suitability for a HIV test, there are plenty of public and private clinics. If May 14th is your baseline date then you'd be past the 28 day mark next Monday.
