I never know how much to write for each question in english, is there a guideline like 10 marks = 10 lines or whatever it may be?

I'm very bad at remembering what I did but mine might be different seeing as I did Higher. If I remember correctly, a question is 30 marks with 3 parts worth 10 marks each? If that is the case, I did 1-1.5 pages for each question. Don't quote me on that though, as my information could be dodgy and I am writing my whole life so I'm able to overwrite with time to spare if need be :)

I didn't do OL but 10 marks was probably about a page at HL. So maybe 3/4 of a page but I don't know to be honest.

You're best off sticking to your timing and if you use it all, you should have enough written.
