I'm trying to find a place that sells 1/2" drive E sockets but having difficulty sourcing them. They have to be 1/2" preferably high impact. I'm trying to remove a bolt that's seized in a wishbone and they'll have to be strong enough to shear the bolt..

Top Part used to sell the standard 1/2" Torx sockets but I don't know about impacts.

Thanks. I called a couple of those stores and they don't have any.

Halfords have E-Torx with lifetime warranty. You could try and get them and if they break bring them back :)

Shearing the bolt wont do you much good if its seized in the wishbone if your lucky it will only break the head off.
What way is the other side secured is it threaded into the subframe or is it a nut ??

I'm trying to get a ball joint of a Peugeot 407. Bolt goes through wishbone and bolts into the ball joint. If head shears then no problem. New ball joint came with new bolts.

Drill into the head of the bolt with a small drill bit gradually getting bigger then break the head off with a hammer and chisel.
