I noticed that when off the saddle climbing or sprinting the chain rubs front derailleur cage or chain catcher. This doesnt happen when Im back in the saddle. So what would be flexing so much and why to cause this? Last year I changed chainrings. Thats the only modification I did.

The bike flexes slightly when you're out of the saddle - perfectly normal. You just need to adjust the limit screw slightly. Do it one quarter of a turn at a time.
