36 holes in a day

Just wondering if there are many golfers on here who would be available and willing to play 36 holes in a day during the working week.

There's a club I need to visit in the next few weeks and I'm looking for volunteers. Golf will be covered, but lunch won't. No restrictions on handicap level, although it would be useful to get a mix of handicaps so if you're interested, please list your handicap.

In return, I'll need you to fill out a questionnaire after the golf.

It's a bit like the 'Inside The Ropes' I was doing a while back.

    Thanks

I would be up for that but it would depend on the day as I work shift and have a long week / short week pattern. With notice I can plan around.

    Sounds like fun.

    Handicap is 13 (12.6)

I would be interested. My handicap is 10

EDIT: Wicklow would be too far for me so I will withdraw my name. Thanks anyway.

I'd do that Kevin if it's a Midlands or north sort of place.

    Handicap disintegrating, now 20.

I'd be up for it. Handicap is 8. I'm not working at the minute so I can do pretty much whenever once it isn't this weekend as I'm off tot he euros. I have a couple of friends who do shift work who might be available given the right day and a little notice. They're off 5 and 11.

Thanks for all the replies - good to know you're out there. I should have details in the next day or two.

Would be interested too. I'm free most of the summer (perks of the job). I don't have an official handicap though as I'm not a member anywhere I usually just pay and play different courses during the summer. Last official handicap was 18. Am playing Wicklow tomorrow actually.

As before, thanks for all the replies. Date, venue and times are now booked.

Coincidentally, this is going to be played at Powerscourt, so if you're playing in this Saturday's Society outing you may not feel inclined to come back again... or the exact opposite!

    Date: Friday 24th June

    Tee times:
    8am West Course
    13.30 East Course

Plan would be to have lunch and then, after the 2nd round, to sit you down in the clubhouse and get you to fill in a form. it should only take 10 minutes.

So... now that's all set, who among you are still available?

Still feeling dejected after loosing in final of pp up there last Sunday :(

Would still be on for it though but unfortunately an 8am start rules me out as I am on kiddy duty till I get to abandon them at school

Three names picked from the 'hat'... and based on a good handicap spread are
Macker1, Ridonkulous and Princess Poppy (who was a shoo-in as the only lady golfer).

See you on the 24th June. The West course is the one to the left of the clubhouse as you drive in. Goal is to be ready to go at 7.45. At the moment, we're first out, so the sooner we go the more time we'll have for lunch!

Thanks to everyone for their interest. It's something I'll be doing again.

I try to get out for a double round day once a month during Summer, early start but great to travel and make your travel worth while by getting two courses in.

Many thanks to Kevin for a great opportunity to play these two great courses today. A most enjoyable, if exhausting, experience
