This is a test for your ability to tell someone's state of mind from their eyes.

I got 24 out of 36. Says the average is 26.

Anyone else get bored doing the test? Looking at 36 pairs of eyes just gets ... well boring.

28 out of 36. Higher than I expected, to be honest. I'm usually not good with that sort of craic.

Yes, I got bored after around 5.

It's kind of a nonsense test though since
the images you saw were taken from British magazines in 1990's.

So.. from people posing for publicity pics in an uncontrolled setting. There's no way to know what they were feeling at the time.

Test is basically 'see how many times you can guess the same way the author did'

In fairness, Simon Baron-Cohen (Ali G's cousin), a researcher in ASD, is behind it. So probably some way valid.

26, couldn't explain why I answered which. Obviously all the ladies were being flirtatious!

29/36. Pretty boring though. I was at least hoping they'd tell you the answers or show the full faces at the end.

I answered hostile to one of the flirtatious ladies.
    Probably explains a lot.

^Yeah it gets boring after the first 10.

I did it extremely quickly. How does boredom set in that fast? Took 2-3 minutes.

I thought this would be revelatory ffs

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

29, with Asperger's, but I spent a lot of time on each question and the total test time was about 20 minutes for me.
