Skipping certain history chapters

Does anyone else skip the ****e about hollywood, the american dream and all of the waffle about leisure and tv/films in Unit 6. I don't do the last 2 chapters on space and religion/mass media because it's hard to get a good grade on the culture/personality perspective. Is it okay to do that?
