Hi,

I'm wondering whether I'd be entitled to any support from welfare, and I can't find anything online.

I've never been on the dole, I've just finished college. I applied for an unpaid internship that I might get, but I can't go a whole year with no income. To be clear, it's not a JobBridge internship.

The job would be great for me but right now I need an income. Does anyone know if I'd be entitled to anything if I take this job?

Could you not apply for job seekers and ask the firm to apply for job bridge?

You have to apply for the jobseekers, be processed, be awarded and then on Jobseekers for 3 months before Jobbridge application

Also be aware that per the media Jobbridge is being scrapped from September.
