Just reading there that Charlie Ward will be fight at this on Saturday night.

Will this be available live online anywhere as ppv?
Irish MMA fighter Charlie 'The Hospital' Ward will step into the octagon this weekend for his first fight following the tragic death of Portuguese fighter Joao Carvalho in April.

The Dubliner is set to fight in Wales on Saturday night, where he will face off with Gareth Williams at the Adenalin Fight Night show in Swansea.

Carvalho's death sent shockwaves through the Irish MMA landscape, with a number of shows being cancelled or postponed while new safety measures were brought in at pro and amateur levels.

A new body, headed up by SBG coach John Kavanagh, called the Irish Mixed Martial Arts Association (IMMAA) was established in the wake of his death in an effort to regulate the sport in Ireland.

Looks a bit of a mismatch. His opponent Williams(1 win in last 4 fights) last fought in 2012 and lost to this guy(lost all last 5 fights)

Very much doubt it will be shown live anywhere.

    Won it by unanimous decision.
SBG Ireland’s Charlie Ward returned to action earlier tonight (4th June) and earned a unanimous decision over Welshman Gareth Williams in the co-main of Adrenalin Fight Nights in Swansea, Wales.

In the amateur ranks, Coolmine MMA’s Alexander O’Sullivan faced Welshman Brian Evans in an featherweight amateur title bout and defeated the Welshman with a TKO in the 3rd round.

Read Chris Eubank's autobiography a few years ago and he was talking about how hard it was for him to fight again after the Michael Watson rematch. I know the injury Watson sustained wasn't a fatal one but it very nearly was and he did end up in a coma for well over a month. Eubank was saying in the book that what he found hardest to recover was his 'finishing instinct'.

The craziest thing about that fight was that quite unbelievably there was no ambulance or medics at it. I know it was the early 90's but you wouldn't even think that would be possible even back in the 1930's and 40's nevermind just 25 years back. Anyway, good to see that Charlie got back in there and fought again and of course that he won. Obviously can't have been easy for him.
