Anyone else seen this thundering rip-off?

    http://www.blanchardstowncentre.ie/game-of-thrones-fans

Ten euro to get a picture of yourself sitting in a poor replica of the Iron Throne from the show?! Twenty-****ing-five for the "gold" ticket that gets your picture in the throne wearing a replica of Joffrey's crown and holding a replica of Jaime's crown? Seems like an invitation to pay the Iron price if you ask me!

Luckily it doesn't seem like many are falling for it, just had lunch with some workmates in the KFC beside where they're doing it and they didn't have a single customer in the 45 minutes or so we were there.

    Fools and their money..............

I'd feel embarrased to be caught dead in a pic like that

You don't even get a picture - you get a digital download.*

*Didn't do it myself, but a friend did.

Sitting on the Throne on the actual set would be pretty cool.

In a shopping centre? Not so much.

Do you mean you want to kill somebody to get to sit on it?

Nah, I wouldn't mind getting a pic of myself in the Throne, I just find the price utterly extortionate!

€25  Looks like a very poor replica.

But then again, so is the one in the movies :D

Gimme a fiver and I'll take a picture of you. Just look at that clock on the wall.

    I'll agree it's tacky.

But if idiots want to pay for it let them pay for it. I'll condemn no man who parts fools from their money with their full permission.

I've sat on it for free, it's a big plastic thing! Was hard to get excited about.

"Be the envy of all your social media friends"

    :D:D:D

I can see what market they are trying to tap into here, I just think they are very misguided.

I got a pic of myself sitting on the iron throne at the game of thrones exhibition in Belfast. Even that was a bit tack.

The throne didn't look impressive. It looked plastiky

I passed by it yesterday, went over to look at the prices and . . . . . . nope.

I tried it out yesterday and it was actually fun, the Throne is real steel and the replicas are pretty cool too. The queue was fairly long when I went so I think there was no one there for those 45 mins due to the fact it was lunch time and not many people would be around anyway. The guy publicly announced me as Queen too which was pretty funny.

My only problem is the level of customer service. Me and my partner got two different options and neither of us have received our 'digital photos'. They're supposed to be emailed to you before the end of the day and neither of us received it. You fill our a form on an ipad at the end of the 'photo shoot' and put all your details in. I put in my email and phone number and himself put his own email address and phone number in. No sign of anything on either email address. I wrote to them on their Facebook page where it says 'replies within the hour'...that was 4 hrs ago and still no reply. Annoyed I emailed them instead, still no answer. I also left a comment on their most recent Facebook post. Nothing Nada. What a f**king rip. I don't mind paying a few euro for a laugh but I'm not impressed that these rip off merchants took my money and gave me nothing in return. There's no contact phone number anywhere to get in touch with them even. You can't even post to their Facebook page or give a review to get their attention.
