I must be nuts, but I have done one bet and one bet only today. Minding in the Oaks for me. Fuming I missed the 6/4.

Would like Somehow BUT she is out of an Oaks winner which is a huge negative.

Terrible ride from Moore, what a filly.

Minding is a superstar. It may have been a field of trees but to win going away after all that.

Really top class. She could go out tomorrow and beat the other trees in the derby..

Not that it would have won, but I thought Buick was worse. Horse definitely got Moore out of trouble though.

True, but how good must Jet Setting have been to go toe to toe with it?

Buick looked more interested in trying to stop Moore winning, as you say it didn't matter anyway but still should be focusing on his own job at hand.

Had the same thought myself. Went besides Moore and tried to stayed there. To win after getting stopped like that, Minding has to be streets ahead this year.

This genuinely might be a horse that Aidan O'Brien could genuinely say, "this is the best horse" (and not just, best filly) "that I have ever trained", if she can get just one Group 1 against the boys.

The amount of yards she ate up here in that race

Wonder will there be any suspensions for Moore and Buick ?

Minding may well have won the Irish 1000 Guineas too, injury to the sinus or not, had Moore placed her a different way (Not being critical may he did the right thing, but he might have liked to run that race again)

No way should she bother with the Pretty Polly or Irish Oaks. A nice long deserved break. King George might be tempting if Aidan is looking to win the British Trainers Championship, but meh.

Maybe York and/or Irish Champions Stakes (that weight allowance!!!) and the Arc or L'Opera

I was on Katebird and was watching that rp commentary live. To say I was bemused was an understatement but that's probably the pocket. Was funny in fairness.
