Starlet won't start

    Hi all.

I recently got a little Starlet as a run around.
It was driving perfect with no issues at all up until today.
I went to give it a quick spine into town. Put the key into the ignition, and all lights turned on. When I turned it, I get a very hard to hear click, but nothing else happens. The starter doesn't turn the engine at all.
I'm thinking the Starter is gone? I tried putting jump leads to it, but the same thing happens.
    Anyone else have any thoughts?

Dead battery is where I'd be starting. Try a jump start.

Could be starter, see if it starts with a push or tow, if it does that's your likely problem.

Starlet won't start is a title you don't see to often. Try a push start or better jump leads

Would be fairly sure it's the battery. Try jump or push start.

    Bumping this thread.
Does this sound like a battery issue?
    Thanks in advance?

Ya sounds like the battery, but you said you tried to start it with jump leads connected and it didnt make any difference??

    Thanks - fingers crossed!
That was the previous poster who tried the jump leads. Battery is charging now.

In general would the battery be OK after a good charge or is it likely to be permanently knackered? It's the sealed type
