HTC 10 sim unlock

Has anyone tried to unlock the HTC 10 for all networks. Bought phone on 3 and network with them is beyond a joke lately and figured unlock phone and switch network but no not as simple. And three said they have to find out to see if the code to unlock it is available. Are HTC harder to unlock or something
