Can I verify a Garage Code is genuine?

    Hi,
    Selling my car, and I just want to be sure the change of ownership is legit. If I give the buyer the RF105 form and he puts in his garage code, can I verify that it is genuine?

    Where is his premises or is he a we buy cars for cash crowd? Normally these are scammers and you will be getting toll bills, parking fines and possible calls from Gardaí over traffic offences afterwards as car will remain in your name.
