There's got to be a way to do this.
There are medications like pristiq and adderall that are not available on licence in Ireland, and are extremely expensive to acquire off licence.
Medications like pristiq distinctly mitigate the side effects of older versions such as effexor, yet they are still not Licensed here.

Is there a means to raise public concern regarding this?
How would one go about petitioning for the introduction or licensing of these medications, because honestly I think that ireland is well behind the times in terms of its Healthcare particularly in terms of mental health, and that's only contrast to the UK. Having lived in the Netherlands previously I can say the Healthcare is centuries beyond ours again I refer specifically to mental health care.

So anyways, petition for the introduction of licensing of these medications, any idea how one would go about doing that?

Only the company that makes the medicine can apply for licence and unless they expect to have enough sales to make money and cover the considerable costs involved then there is no incentive to look for a licence. If you want to petition somebody then contact the company but don't expect much response.
Even if the products you mention were licenced in Ireland there is no way to say that they would be cheaper than at present or that the health service would fund them.
