Not a bad deal for a monster screen.

    http://www.pcworld.ie/Product/jvc-lt55c550-55-led-tv/328698/404.0.2

Stand looks a bit mank but at least it does not come with those ridiculous legs at opposite corners which rules out existing TV tables that people may want to re-use.

    do your research before buying!!

some of these amazing offers are for crappy gear dressed up and not as good value as they seem, not a lot of margin in flatscreens at the low/mid level, best bargains are previous generation (it moves fast we're talking12-18 months here) sets they're ridding to take in the latest gen panels

my advice get the model number of the TV you are interested in and goto www.avforums.com to get the full lowdown of it (if listed) or 2016 panels in that category, its locally focussed website (UK/IRL wise) so you'll suss out whats best value

Second that, I got a "great" black friday deal on a JVC screen, I sold a 10 year old 32" sony lcd screen to fund it, nearly cried when I turned it on, sound was just terrible, shadows, grainy , crap interface. I reboxed and returned, ended up with a Pan Vera HD something or other , no comparison in the two.

    1. Don't buy from PC World - absolutely dreadful customer service.

    2. Save up a bit more and buy a decent TV. (Samsung make excellent budget TVs)
These JVCs are brutal in terms of actual quality.
