Screen Printing Kits

I want to get back into Screen Printing and looking for a little advice.
Was hoping to avoid purchasing an expensive pro/semi-professional machine... but still be able to produce professional prints.
Therefore...
Has anyone ever bought or tried one of these (or similar) Screen Printing Kits? Worth the purchase?
A couple of Q's...
1) I believe you can attach a larger PLATEN and bigger dimension SCREENS ?
2) What are (if any) the advantages of such a contraption over your bog standard clamp to the table Screen Printer?
