Being Accused

I was driving down some laneway out near a beach earlier on because I was genuinely lost and took a wrong turn. On the way back up I slowed down near a parked car to see if there was anybody inside to ask directions of. I didn't notice anyone, next of all the car starts moving and following me and then pulled in front of me forcing me to stop. He started shouting at me calling me a perv saying I was looking in on him (and his girlfriend). I told him I was lost but he was still shouting. He clearly saw my registration plate and was just wondering would of he went to the guards about this and if so would I get in trouble? I would hate to be accused of something like that especially because it was untrue. Thanks

well if the guy and his girlfriend were up to anything, i take it they were having sex or something similar in their car, it is them who were doing something wrong, and if the guards were passing and saw what they were doing, they would likely have words with them about it. you can't have sex in public and they were in public.or if they were not have sex and just sitting in the car, what were they so mad about? don't worry about it, you did nothing wrong op.

His word against yours, you didn't do anything, and even if you did he would have to admit to the cops that he was up to no good in public. I wouldn't waste any more time worrying about this, nothing will happen.

    Don't worry about it.
A person has no right to an expectation of privacy in their car in a public place.

i'd agree with the others. don't worry about it any more. the guy overreacted. he'd have to explain what they were doing in a parked car there.
