the company providing these I've never heard of before, their registered address is a P.O. Box in Surrey in the UK, and have barely been in business a solid year.

Found some reviews of the company online. Looks like they sell fake goods and take weeks to ship.

My rule for any of these deals sites is to not buy tech. Ever. Either the prices aren't as cheap as they seem or the company selling them is in some way dodgy. I've never seen one that was worth it.

And even at that price, you can buy brand new, great android devices which will be able to handle modern apps and use. The 5s is long in the tooth now, and it's hardly selling for peanuts here.

Saw that ad and nearly bought one of them last Monday .
Noticed in one part of the ad it said 12 months and another 6 months?
You would think the sites shouldn't be advertising the guys?

While I think the iPhone5s is still a decent phone. I wouldn't buy any phone unless it could be easily returned in case of problems.

Be careful when it comes to buying refurb phones.

I would personally never buy one again.

Dealrush are only the third party, units are being supplied (and I'll use that lightly) by http://georgigirl.co.uk/apple-iphone-5s-16-gb-gold-unlocked/

No not surprised, just note for assurance to anyone thinking of buying.

For info, forgot to note that the iPhone 6 64GB was GBP389.95

There is no way anyone is getting a refurb 5S for that price. They fetch well north of €200 all day long second hand. Scam. Steer clear.

Dealrush refunded my order today as supplier could not fulfil orders.

I got a second hand iphone 5 on ebay for the gf last year. The battery was naff, dieing after 5 hours of standby and the loud speaker was so low it was impossible to hear. So i ordered a new battery and speaker gor another 60 quid and put them in. Being an inexperienced clutz I broke the screeen so back to ebay I went and put in a new screen for 40 quid. It worked great then, although the cables worked its way loose once or twice which caused some weird behaviour.

Then recently it took a fall and the screen broke. Dispite being utterly smashed it worked perfectly. I got another screen off ebay, it was DOA, had to argue for a refund. Got another screen it worked but would not click back into place. I had to skim the edges with a knife before it would fit in. Worked find then until the gf made a call, loud speakers broken again arrrg.

We got a apple refurb iphone 6 on amazon this time around.

These second hand phones cost a fortune purely because of the apple brand and the cheap ones are definetly flawed in some way or have been patched up with ropey ebay parts. Nothing but hassle imo.

I think too many of these used and refurbs have problems to buy them from anywhere except apple.

Three has a 2yr contract for all you can eat data and 5s for €25 a month + one off €29. Probably the cheapest you'll get a decent iPhone if the plan suits.

Though if you want something cheaper I would get a sim free android/motog and a 30 day plan, or prepay. From somewhere that has easy returns, like amazon.

I've noticed that adverts these is full of broken and party working phones. That just the ones who are honest about it. Most of the time they are looking for very close to retail prices. So theres no point going that route anymore.

Problem is buying from UK or abroad, it theres a problem and still within warranty you can't return by post coz of battery. Only a few couriers seem to take them as most of big couriers fly.

My OH bought one of these, couldn't believe it when she told me. I knew no good would come of it.
Received an email off deal rush last Monday saying order cannot be filled.
No sign of a refund yet, payed via PayPal so hopefully that offers some protection. The communication from dealrush is terrible

How often do you find people in the market for an iPhone are looking to buy an android? It's like someone buying a pair of shoes and someone says that you can buy two pairs of trainers for that price instead.

To be fair, I would assume those looking at a sub 200€ iphone probably aren't going to find an android device offensive. My point being that if you need a cheaper device, then perhaps a dodgy refurb iphone is not the best choice. A brand new Smart Ultra 6 costs less than this did, and is a far greater device in every way.

The 5s is still a decent phone.

Dead right, I had to pay e45 to post my phone back to the uk,via courier, plus a lot of emails to vendor, and pay pal to get my money back, ended up hassled, frustrated, and down money
