What does MILF mean?

    Thought that would grab your attention!

    I actually know what MILF means but there was a time when I didn't and I remember the scornful looks and sniggers I got when I asked people what it stood for.

    In similar vein, I suspect, I must now ask people "What does Atari Jaguar" mean, in the context of Boards polls? I see it often as the final alternative to an otherwise sensible choice of answers to a straightforward question.

    Clueless :confused::confused:

    PS I've already tried Google

    It's use here is very much a boards.ie thing. It's meant as "irrelevant," in memory of a games console that had high expectations but was ultimately fruitless.

    It means nothing. Now the 2600, that meant something!

    Remember way back when on some show aimed towards kids, one of the male presenters commented on a woman, "she's a MILF" and, once he saw his female co-host's shocked expression, hastily added, "er, a minnow I'd like to fish".

    So, there you go, OP; it's a fishing term.

    It's funny what milf now means to some of the newer generation.
    Back when American Pie coined the phase it meant a mother in her 40s upwards. Like your mates hot mom kinda thing :pac: (as we all know)
    But now you see mid 20s mothers calling themself milfs :confused:

    Do you ever wonder what we'll do when we run out of funny pictures to look at? My personal theory is we'll drink heavily.

    It is a certain type of woman that calls herself a milf. And generally they are not the type you would like to f.
