English Paper 1

My teacher did basically no Paper 1 work, so I need help with comprehensions. I am fairly god at Paper 2 but only got a C in my Paper 1 in the mocks. The comprehension was my weakest point. Does anyone have resources for Paper 1 or tips for the comprehension? Thanks!

Have a look through some of them and see what you think. Luckily Paper One really isn't knowledge based so cramming some last minute info in isn't necessary. My advice would be to do a few past exam papers in full and correct them afterwards with the marking scheme to make sure you're on the right track!

I struggle with comprehensions too, i'd advise you to keep at it and practice a few though, then maybe hand it up to your english teacher when you're done and if you think they wouldn't mind, ask if they'll correct it for you and tell you where you're going wrong? this is what my english teacher told us to do atleast, it's really helpful
