WANTED: Best Quality Full HD 1080p TV

That's it in a nutshell. I am looking for a decent TV with Full HD quality for viewing the above devices on. It has to have at least 3 HDMI ports, does NOT have to be Smart as I can use Xbox for Netflix.

Preferably a 55" would be nice but I would drop to 49" or 47" if budget forced me to. I am not a big name brand tart, if a lower brand name gave as good spec and viewing quality as a higher name.

Must be wall mountable and will be viewed in a nearly square room of 14' x 13' (not that this makes an iota of difference :pac:)

TV sound not an issue as this will be used with a surround system or a Sonos soundbar, so don't let sound issues prevent suggesting a TV. This is purely down to image quality and black colours.


Budget €800 Maximum.

Thanks for the correct link.

How do you find it handles blacks? My current cheap 42" is pretty poor at them and you can see grading rings on dark scenes and nightime scenes.

I haven't noticed any issues. It replaced a HD ready plasma and as far as I can tell it's way better and the blacks look rich/deep to me but I'm not really an expert.
