    Hi, wondering what the best course of action to take on the rust at the bottom of a garden shed would be. pics attached.

    Remove loose scale with a scraper, go over it with a wire-brush, then apply a rust killer (also called rust converter), following the instructions carefully. After this you can prime it with rust -primer or red oxide and then paint over with a suitable gloss paint. You will need to lightly sand the area being painted, so that the paint will adhere.
    If you can't get a suitable match for the rest of the structure, I would suggest painting a contrasting band along the bottom. If you can then provide some means of keeping moisture away from the bottom of the panels so much the better, but from the pictures it seems to me that the damp is rising through the concrete footing
