Evening all! Was just going through the new speed zones active from last week and it seems now some zones now include motorways, M50 included.

I thought it wouldn't come to this personally but they went to town with all these new zones. Even heard a few places it wasn't aloud. Anybody see any on the motorway yet?

They are using a fairly basic system to set up the locations. Anywhere that's had a crash is now on the list and the busiest road in the country has had plenty of crashes so is fair game. The fact that the majority of the crashes occur when traffic is in 2nd gear doesn't matter.

But I've seen a fair few cars on their roof between Firhouse and Ballinteer so obviously some people can't handle the dangerous bends on that section.

Yep, just beyond templeogue exit going southbound on the m50. Money making racket, but don't worry if you're a middle lane hogger or drive at 60 km/hr.
