Ok small issue with my Peugeot 308. I was getting a warning message up on my screen saying. Particle filter additive level too low Repair Needed. So brought it to garage to Get it sorted. The Dpf reservoir was empty so they filled it back up with Eolys fluid but they couldn't get remove the warning Msg on their Diagnostic equipment.

Is their anyway I can reset the warning code without having to go to Peugeot Main dealer ?

You need to find someone with Peugeot Planet software and a diagnostic interface.

There are plenty of them on Ebay for about 60 euro, but they can be a pain in the arse to get the software installed. The PP2000 software is designed for windows XP only, so it can be tricky to make it work if you don't have XP.

That is the only way to reset the Eloys counter as far as I know. What part of the country are you in?

Thanks for that info. I'm in Portlaoise. Working in Blanchardstown. I wouldn't mind giving someone 50 if they can reset it for me.

Its a pity I'm in Limerick, its a two minute job. 50 would be a bit much!

Yesterday I went to another garage they informed me they have the latest diagnostic software for Peugeot Cars & they would be able to reset the dpf warning message.
So the chancer Mechanic spent around 45mins trying to get Warning message deleted to no avail, only to tell me that I would need a new Dpf or else get the current one removed all costing €700+ depending on labour. told him I going to bring to Main Peugeot dealer to make sure & he said Peugeot will just tell me same thing
Brought car to Peugeot Dealer Kilkenny today & they Reset Dpf fault msg. Was told no problem everything is 100%
    €50+vat Happy days.
    Moral of the story
If anyone comes into similar problem don't be afraid to go to main dealer as they have the proper latest technology for the model of your vehicle.

The funny part is most people would shout that dealerships are robbers if you suggested to go there. I've had great experience with Ford dealers myself who have charged me for servicing parts less than a normal motor factors would!

At least you're all sorted now and hopefully it doesn't come back :)
