As with all cheap memory cards, the big question is - are they genuine Samsung ?

Amazon deal of the day, works out around €14 but is 64 gb (Although you will need to add items for free standard delivery)

    ^ ^ This

How a company can go from being so bad to the next best thing in such a short space of time

By offering clowns free products to shill for them everywhere

(not saying that happened in this case)

You really can't trust any review or link for gearbest, it's absolutely awful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,305 ✭✭✭CantGetNoSleep

Nor can you trust their delivery, this might not arrive, it might arrive and be fake, and they won't really give a sh1t - you will get offered 2€ back after 15 complaints

if Gearbest are so bad, how come they're allowed a sub-forum?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,766 ✭✭✭RossieMan

Because they're paying for it? It's a sponsored forum, there is a difference.

Money talks and the paid shills/promotors are back it seems.

It's amazing that Dav called gearbest insidious and evil in their practices and now they have their own section!

Anyway look up AE-Samsung store on Aliexpress. Official Samsung partner store to Ali and i have picked up a few genuine (fully tested and verified) 32gb cards for $8.39 Better value than gearbest.

    Guys,

Rather than using a bargain thread, use the sticky or the thread on feedback to make your point about these recent Gearbest changes where it will be seen.

Not going to make any impact here, and just going to piss off posters further.

    Thanks

Pretty sure this is a knock off. Picked one up on eBay and the read/write speeds were atrocious

David I'd love you hear from you about the gearbest situation.

I'm sure many boardsies here would, the feedback thread is a good idea if anything will come of it.

    32 GB cards from a non-dodgy source for €8:

    https://www.7dayshop.com/32gb-micro-sd-cards

why even think of going near the likes of gearworst?

Have so many people had bad experiences with Gearbest? I have bought a bunch of stuff from them - mostly low cost, like Xiaomi headphones & fitness bands, but every transaction has been great. I had one Xiaomi band fail within warranty and the replacement process was pretty painless.

Not a shill, but the level of apparently dissatisfied customers in this thread surprised me.

    shilling - NOUN

"a small unit of money that was used in the UK until 1971"

Gearbest take payment in shillings now?
