Without knowing what it's about how can anyone tell. If it's road traffic bring licence, insurance to cover the date of offence Tax and NCT. It amazes me the amount of people for no insurance who turn up in court with out cert and say I did not know to bring it.

If I'm not mistaken (open to correction) the address above is an office address, I thought all district courts are now in criminal courts of justice building. But I never do anything in DC in Dublin so there maybe a traffic court sitting at above address.

The Bridewell off Chancery Street still deals with RTA matters and some other miscellaneous DC criminal matters.

Oh, I also seem to remember the courts on Chancery Street itself up the steps (can't remember the numbers) also sometimes have criminal DC matters so it could be there.

The High Court sits there now. There hasn't been a criminal DC case there in years.

Even upstairs. Those courts are 24, 25 and 26. Always High Court.

    Even with the smell?

...always High Court I'm guessing. Afaik, it's the asylum list in that building? Cannot imagine many chancery matters taking place in Chancery Street sure that's make no sense Ted.

You will need more than that, you will need to know which court (number) you have been summonsed to or you will not be able to hear your case being called. Try to contact the garda station if you know which one it is in, or else go to the court clerk (in each court) before the list starts, tell him you have lost your summons and you need to know which court you are on and ask him to look for your name. Once you know which court you are in you can wait for your case to be called.

consider getting a solicitor, there will be plenty in the court.

There are only 2 courts operating in the Bridewell at the moment. There will be lists with names on the wall outside each of the courts. The clerks there are helpful. The o/p could also ring the office a few days before and check.
