Booking Tenerife in August

Can anyone give me some advice on this. We are planning a family break (2 adults and a 12 year old) in Tenerife for a week towards the end of August.

Can anyone recommend a good travel agent who would have a selection of deals on tenerife? I believe Costa Adeje is a good spot for bringing kids etc..

Ideally we would like to go half board aswell, eat breakfast and dinner at the hotel, we would get lunch out and about during the day.

Would Costa Adeje be the best place to go in tenerife with family in mind? I know Siam Park is nearby, but is it accessible from the main airport? are there lots of things to do in this area, shops etc.??

Finally in terms of cost, is this an expensive time of year to go?

There are loads of travel agents and online agents aswell offering deals but is there a "go-to agent" in Ireland for tenerife holidays on a budget?

Sincere thanks in advance for any advice

    Hi

Not sure about prices of flights and accomodation in August but just back from 10 days in Costa Adeje. Stayed in Playa de Fanabe area which was very family friendly. Lots of shops, restaurants and a very nice beach.

Siam Park is a must. Free bus goes there and back every 30mins from 9 30am. Its 34euro per adult and over 11's are considered adults for pricing. If you go a second day buy your ticket for 17euro before you leave. Also Siam Mall is 5 min walk from the Park and had some nice restaurants and shops.

Im sure there are deals to be had for August just a case of shopping about.

Apart from Costa Adeje (which is crazy expensive in mid to late august) what are the other resorts that have close proximity to Siam Park?

No idea to be honest. We booked back in January and even then dates we wanted werent available but that was due to the fact we wanted a particular hotel.

What we paid in January for family of 5 almost doubled in price at the start of May so I can imagine what prices would be in August which is high season.

Costa Adeje is a region so not sure what other region is close to it.
