I've been thinking about running a course at a local college but recently learned about elearning platforms like Udemy.

Has anyone here run a course on it and made money?

I know lots of factors are involved (how interesting the course is, price, etc) but in general would it be worth the effort to publish a course there?

I'm not an expert on these platforms but Udemy can be hit and miss in terms of quality. I've also never paid for a course there despite being signed up to hundreds. Check out the thread on bargain alerts to see what I mean. Have you done any research into the area, if there are already lots of training videos covering it?
